I am on day 8 of starting my starter. I am feeding 100g unbleached all purpose flour and 100g water to 100g of starter every 24 hours. The first 3 days I had lots of little bubbles and then day 4 it went very quiet.
There are barely any bubbles now and no rise. If at one point your starter was all bubbly and happy and now its not rising anymore its possible that it needs a few extra feedings to boost the yeast development. Assuming you understand how temperature and ingredients can effect the rise of your starter try feeding it 2x per day and see what happens.

Can I bring it back to life. I drained the Hooch and mixed in the water and flour. Ir is sitting on the counter now.
